Our technology delivers significant benefits, and we are committed to minimizing the environmental impacts of our products and services at every stage of the product life cycle.

Hydrometallurgy has a more attractive environmental profile than pyrometallurgy. When compared to pyrometallurgy, hydrometallurgy:

Uses 75% less water

Cuts emissions of CO2, SOx and NOx

Produces no tailings.

When applied to an existing hydrometallurgy leaching operation, incremental copper production generated from Jetti’s technology results in a negligible environmental footprint:

Minimal water consumption

Virtually zero emissions

Minimal energy consumption beyond that required for plating cathode.

Resource Maximization

Jetti reinvigorates depleting mines and enables conversion of waste and stranded resources into  copper cathode. Jetti’s technology enables operators to make more effective use of existing resources and reduce the need to disturb untouched ground.

Health and safety

Our approach to employee health and safety is rooted in practices that ensure every employee and contractor returns home safe and healthy at the end of each day. Importantly, our technology does not introduce any additional health or safety requirements for mining partners.

A core Jetti goal is to achieve zero workplace injuries and occupational diseases. To support this goal, our health and safety strategy includes:

Equipping employees with the tools they need to work safely, through training and education, personal protective equipment and sharing of best practices.
